Mission Statement:

BREAD FOR HUNGRY HEARTS Ministry is a Holy Spirit-led ministry, set apart to edify,  encourage, comfort,  train
and equip the Body of Christ for the work of the Kingdom of God. The emphasis is on intimacy with God and the
prophetic, but the use of all spiritual gifts are strongly endorsed and encouraged.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

I believe in one God, creator of all things, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
God loved us enough to die for our sins.
Jesus was with God from the beginning and is both fully God Divine and was fully Man.
He was born of a virgin through the work of the Holy Spirit. He came into the world to destroy the power of the devil and bring in the
Kingdom of God and salvation for all who would put their trust in Him.

Jesus Christ is the only way to God.  His Sacrifice paid the penalty for our sin.
His bodily resurrection from the dead demonstrated the victory of Christ over death and the resurrection to eternal life is the destiny of all
who become God's children.

He ascended into heaven after his rising from the dead and will one day return to earth as King over every nation.

Whoever will receive God's gift of Christ's sacrifice in our place, will become part of His forgiven family and join those who already have
eternal life. There is no other name by which we can be saved.

We can be made right with God, not by trusting in our own goodness or works, nor the church we join, but in Christ's righteousness alone.

Call upon His name (Jesus Christ) asking forgiveness of your sin and entrusting your soul to the one who loves you and longs to be your
friend and savior.

Being forgiven means putting the old ways behind and living in the truth and goodness that comes from knowing God and being forgiven.

It's important to continue to walk and grow in the new life that God has given and not turn back to life without Him. This will mean going to
a church where the Bible is taught and people are living transformed lives in the love of Jesus Christ.
Intercession is at the heart of the prophetic anointing. We want to be an example to the church body of praying according to Gods will that
will produce testimonies of answered prayer.

We are here to pray for and with you!  If you have a prayer need please type it in the box below and then hit the submit button to send us
your prayer request. We will be praying for you.  Also, please feel free to use this same form for your praise report for we want to hear
back from you when He answers your prayers

THE BIBLE IN RELATION TO THE PROPHETIC

The Bible is the authoritative Word of God and the ultimate standard to which theology, teaching, doctrine and prophecy must bow.
The Bible is God's revelation to man and woman, and can only be truly understood by those in whom the Holy Spirit dwells, who seek to
live in obedience according to the Word, as God increasingly opens the understanding of our hearts as we obey Him.
Without obedience to what we know of God, our knowledge would only serve to condemn us.

Past Ministry Experience
In the years since 1976 I have been on the worship team in five churches.  I have taught Sunday school classes,
Adult Bible study groups, led and taught home prayer/study groups, and spoken at women’s groups and churches.

Personal Story
I live in a small town in a rural area in SW Georgia.  I have four grown children, one son and three daughters.  They
have blessed me with 12 grandchildren – who are of course the brightest and the best as well as beautiful.
[Grandmother talking.]  They all live within 5 hours travel time.

What’s Next?
Hopefully I will be able to expand and improve this new website as I go on.     Also I am in the process of what I hope
is the final edit of a book I have written, sharing what I have learned about walking in the ways of the Lord.

Salvation Testimony
I met Jesus when I was just 10 years old and accepted Him as my Savior.  And I fell in love with Jesus.  About two
weeks later I was baptized with the Holy Spirit.   I thought then that I would always love God, love Jesus and serve
God.  But then as a teenager I encountered the hypocrisy of others and my own failure to be a “perfect” Christian
and became disillusioned.
Then rather than keeping my eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, I looked at people and their failings
and their hypocrisy. Then I judged God by His children and believed (wrongly) that He was as dissatisfied with me as
His people were. So I quit trying to live a “Christian life”.
Several years later when I cried out in despair, God came into my living room and wrapped me up in His love; He
drew me to Himself, nurtured me, renewed my hope and began a lengthy healing process.  My life was falling apart.  I
needed Him desperately.  And He was wonderfully, gloriously there.
I did not know it but He was there all the time, calling me, drawing me.  That day as I prayed – really without much
hope, He came and revealed the depth of His love and let me know that I would be OK.  He told me that being a
Christian is not something you do, it’s not about going to church on Sunday and Wednesday or reading the Bible.  It’s
all about heart attitude.  It’s who we are not what we do. And it’s 24 hours a day seven days a week.
He assured me that He was there and would lead me along the Path of Life if I would allow Him.  As I saw His reality
and the truth of His divine love and grace, His mercy and truth I rededicated my life to Him.  I gave myself to Him
completely.  I asked Him to be more than my Savior, to be my Lord, my Master, and my King.
I had argued with teachings, I had fought against the criticism and judgment of people.  But I had absolutely no
defense against the love of God.  I was completely overwhelmed by a love so great as His, by a mercy and
forgiveness so divine.
Even though God allowed me to do as I chose He never left me alone.  He allowed me to chart my own course until I
was far enough off the path that I knew I could not find my way back on my own.  Then He drew me back to Himself.
He saved my life – literally – more than once.
His word became my “manna”.  It is the Bread of life that gives me what I need every day.  It answers my questions.
It gives me the solutions to my problems.  It is a beautiful love letter to me from the King of kings and the Lord of
lords.  I read it, meditate on it, “eat it, chew it, digest it” and grow from it.  I stand on it’s promises.  I draw strength
from the power of the word.  It is the mirror I go to in order to see myself.  It is my measure and it is my map.  It gives
me direction.  It gives me comfort.

“And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, promising not to stop doing good for them.  I will put a desire in
their hearts to worship me, and they will never leave me.  I will rejoice in doing good to them and will faithfully and
wholeheartedly replant them in this land.  Just as I have sent all these calamities upon them, so I will do all the
good I have promised them, I, the Lord, have spoken!
Jeremiah 32:40-41 NLT

I am a woman following hard after God.  I am doing what I know how to do in preparation as a Bride awaiting the
coming of her Bridegroom.  I want to be found ready – awake and alert - with plenty of oil in my lamp, and my gown
spotless and ready.
God has touched my life so many times in so many ways that it is difficult to count or relate.  He’s touched me with
comfort.  He’s touched me with His great mercy – beyond comprehension, with His unending, enduring love that
never fails, with His immeasurable peace that neutralizes every hostile or unpleasant situation.  He has disciplined
me with love and mercy.  He teaches me with kindness and understanding.   He leads me with compassion
He says that we are His body on earth.  We are His hands, His mouth, His arms and His feet to all those in our life.
And so I am attempting to touch those who need His touch, to speak His words to those who need to hear, to reach
out and embrace all who have felt “outside”, and to go where ever He leads.
I am, speaking and publishing His Word in every way at every opportunity, in obedience, and as a response to God’s
word from 2 Cor. 1:3-4 AMP
